The B&B was absolutely fantastic! The staff was accommodating and very friendly - especially Cristina and Manuela. The breakfast was 10/10 — the eggs and bacon are cooked right there, and, if you are solo traveling, Cristina will engage you with a pleasant conversation.

An oasis near beautiful Coimbra with a lot of family history and attention to detail. Luis and his staff make you feel at home instantly and once you pass through the gate, you are on holiday. We enjoyed every moment in this very special place - we would highly recommend it. While it is not in the center of Coimbra, it is only a short distance away (Euro 5 with Uber and less than 10 minutes) - and we liked being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Luis serves a wonderful breakfast with fruits and vegetables from his communal farm. And when you open that bottle of Rosé by the pool in the afternoon, life is just good.

Awesome location across the bridge in Santa Clara. A few little restaurants/bars/gelaterias there that are perfect for a quick meal. But also only a quick 5min walk over the bridge to get to downtown Coimbra and all the action over there. Also both hosts we met were lovely and accommodated everything we needed.

I travel in Portugal a lot and this has been hands down one of the cleanest, most beautiful apartments I've ever stayed at. Communication and check-in was super easy. The kitchen was probably better equipped than mine at home ;) Damp can be a problem in Portugal, but it wasn't here... it sounds silly, but everything smelled so good! There's daily, efficient and unobtrusive housekeeping if you like. Regarding the stairs - stairs are in great condition and wide, 500% better than most staircases in the country, but yes, there's no lift for those with mobility issues.

It was chilly weather during our stay but the fireplace made it so warm snd cozy. Carla is very helpful - we all managed with Google translate! This is a wonderful stay.

We celebrated a wedding, there were only 7 guests but the house could have easily accommodated 12 people! High ceilings, very nice interiors, large kitchen. Guests also have access to a very large grounds with two gardens and a pool with a bar room. The house is half an hour from Quimbra, close to a village that you can walk to.
