The host Lloyd is very hospitable and helpful. They do a good breakfast. If you're looking for self-catering accommodation in Belize city i highly recommended this place.

Becks Bed & Breakfast is situated in Crooked Tree, 47 km from Belize City. Free private parking is available on site. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV and a seating area. While I am not bird watcher (focus of my trip was on diving), the 3 days in Crooked Tree, staying at Beck's Bed and Breakfast, was a memorable experience. As the hosts say, one should feel "at home", and I felt like it. The place is a little paradise, especially for bird enthusiasts. The fact that only three rooms are offered make sure that you always get Becky's and Robert's attention, it wanted and/or needed. Make sure that you "book" Robert for a early morning or late afternoon bird tour (or both). Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, at a beautiful property, in a very nice room, at a very affordable rate. Hope to find the time to come again.

Villa Boscardi is located 4.1 km from central Belize City. Free Wi-Fi access is available on site and the breakfast is included with the rate. Very friendly staff. Francoise responded to emails immediately and set-up taxi services and restaurant reservations. Good location for walking to seawall and restaurants.

Royal Properties Link is situated in Crooked Tree. The air-conditioned accommodation is 49 km from Altun Ha, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The house was spacious with two separate bedrooms, a large living room with a couch and love seat, TV and a dining room table set for four. The kitchen had all of the amenities including a washer and dryer. But the best was an orange male iguana in the backyard. The lagoon and various restaurants and Kenn's market are within walking distance. Definitely off the beaten path for those that like the sounds of birds and an occasional howler monkey!

Featuring garden views, Stylish Apartments near Best Western Hotel offers accommodation with terrace, around 49 km from Altun Ha. A lovely modern property that felt safe. Restaurants are close by and locals said hello to us as we walked by. The room was cool and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

Michelle and Scott were fantastic and friendly. The pool and outdoor area was a fabulous place to relax and have a cooling swim before heading out for dinner. The bungalow itself was comfortable and had everything we needed.

I really like this apartment, it’s close to some places of interest, taxi to downton cotst aproximatly 10 USD, but we went there on foot. The apartment is fully equipped with fridge, full kitchen, the bed is confortable and the communication with Angie was constant all the time. I’d def come back.
