He collected us from the airport and had to wait a really long time but did so with a smile, he went out at midnight to find food for my family and I, he made check in as easy as possible as we were still in Thailand holiday clothes rather than for sun zero temperatures. They made sure we go to the airport on time, very early I might add, and packed a breakfast for us.

Set 400 metres from Wangu Pavilion and offering a garden, Lijiang Yue Tu Inn features accommodation in Lijiang. Free WiFi is provided. The property is set in the ancient town. The location was great, the room was comfortable. The room had a fantastic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, there was also a very nice bathtub. Overall, it was a very good room and a nice way to finish our stay in Yunnan province. The host was super helpful and spoke great English.

Dali is a quiet place and the owner of Z.Garden is completely in tune with the place! And again: who runs the place is very kind and good at English. The hotel is absolutely silent

Centrally located but quiet, helpful English-speaking staff (the *only* place in China where I could actually communicate in English rather than using a translation app!). Very quick WeChat responses to questions. Would definitely recommend (or return myself).

Centrally located in Lijiang Ancient Town, Xilu Xiaoxie Inn features cosy accommodation with traditional Chinese furnishings and modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in the entire... We chose Xilu Xiao Xie Inn based on excellent reviews and its convenient location in the old town. The free ride from the train station was a thoughtful touch, and the warm welcome set a positive tone. The service, led by Joye, Cassie, Jade, and Chi Yuen, exceeded our expectations, tailoring our experience to our preferences. Despite booking a family room, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a deluxe room at no extra cost. The autonomous guesthouse with voice-controlled rooms added a unique and enjoyable aspect to our stay. The amenities were comprehensive, and the shower's water pressure was satisfying. The bed struck the right balance between comfort and firmness. Overall, Xilu Xiao Xie Inn provided a memorable and delightful stay, showcasing impeccable service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

No Flowers Boutique Hostel is situated in the Guandu district in Kunming, and has a private pool, a kitchen and mountain views. The place is beautifullly secluded. The resident dog & cat was such a delight to have as company. Such a pity we stayed only one night, would have loved to stay longer. Hostel owner is kind & friendly.

Situated in Shangri-La, 13 km from Guishan Park, Aurora Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The hosts at Aurora were some of the most helpful and welcoming that I've ever had. They greeted us with Tibetan tea on our arrival and when we left, they gave us a small gift bag. We visited during the Spring Festival so some things were closed and transport was not as available, they helped us with this issue. The hotel is located out of Old town and is a 15 minute drive away. They arranged private drivers for hire, drove us into town whenever we needed and helped us organize our COVID tests. They took us to the hospital and to the bus terminal and helped us plan everything. They spoke English and were always available on Wechat. They provide free breakfast and offer dinner on site. This family is so sweet and so extremely helpful! I will be returning simply because of how warm and welcoming they were.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Super Invincible All Seaview Villa is a recently renovated villa set in Dali, 12 km from Monument of Shih-tsu Taking over Yunnan. the host was rly very friendly and hospitable!
