The reception was excellent, the tour guide was knowledgeable, and the breakfast was delicious!!! Most important though, was that there was not one single mosquito in the room, ant or anything. We have been everywhere in Costa Rica, and this is the very first time our room was spotless and bugless!

Clean, modern, comfortable, attractive, with super-attentive service. If you love small boutique hotels, you will love this place.

Boasting garden views, Nirvana Apartament Hostal provides accommodation with patio, around 34 km from Poas National Park. Property was really well priced and a pleasant place to be. Host was friendly on arrival and happy to recommend places to head out for food. Also a fridge where you can buy some small snacks and drinks from whilst you’re there which is a nice touch. Ideal for staying prior to an early flight, would happily stay again.

Boasting garden views, Jordi´s House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 7 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. This was a really nice place. Don't let the outside fool you. Jordi is great and very professional

Situated in Alajuela City in the Alajuela region, with Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium nearby, Mario y Jeannette features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The accomodation is located at the perfect place if you have an early flight or you arrive on a flight late at night. The facilities are just what I expected, very clean and you have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big and they have a nice kitchen and living room. It was the perfect place to rest after a late night flight. One big plus is that Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC and many other small restaurants are located at a walking distance from the accomodation. That's very convenient in case you want to get something to eat late at night or very early in the morning.

Situated just 30 km from Poas National Park, Airport Traveler's home. Features accommodation in Alajuela City with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Our stay was lovely. It is an excellent value for money. The hostel has a quiet and chilled atmosphere. The hammock area is especially pleasant :) Roman, the host is very kind and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped. If we go through Alajuela again we will definitely try to book again.

Set in Alajuela City, 31 km from Poas National Park and 2.6 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, Apartment 10 minutes by the SJO airport - offers air conditioning. The host was charming. The flat is incredibly well furnished - she has thought of all the little details that make your stay very comfortable and feel like home. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, it lacked nothing. The location is great. Walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. and 10 minutes drive to the airport. Had a private garage to park our car. A great value for money. Definitely recommend it before a flight in or out of Costa Rica.

Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment in Fortuna, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall.... Just perfect. Everything was better than expected. Very friendly, very clean, very beautiful. Thank you!

Featuring inner courtyard views, Airport SJO Residence - Edward & Familia Inn features accommodation with balcony, around 33 km from Poas National Park. This was our second stay at Eddward's placs, last night before our flight back home. We also rented his car for our entire 14 days trip and it proved.to be very convinient and flexible, plus car was great.
