The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in la fortuna. And all that for a very reasonable price. Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment in Fortuna, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall.... It was so nice and cosy , the host family were very helpful. Like a small home from home.

The stay in here exceeded my expectations in many ways. I love the designs in the whole place, from the common area, the garden to the tent and its interior. It is a project designed by the owner and his daughter, who are both architects. The hotel is small and quiet, with less than 10 rooms, but has all the facilities - a gym, a yoga place, swimming pool, breakfast, hot tub and access to a small river.

It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.
