Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!

We got a delicious cooked breakfast, the room was beautiful, freshly renovated with nice bathroom. At our next stay in Elgin we will definitely stay there again if possible.

How bright and clean and spacious it was. we did buy cleaning products but didn’t need them as there was plenty there anyway. Heating was excellent. always warm when we came back to apartment.

The property is non-smoking and is located 34 km from Inverness Castle. The Cabin is a little gem! Set back in the owners beautiful garden. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. The bed was sooooo comfortable and that’s from my husband who’s waiting on bilateral shoulder surgery! The extra touches of bread,milk,croissants,eggs etc left for our arrival were fab and very welcomed. We were delivered a fire pit by Robin for our use with a huge supply of logs on the porch. The Cabin is a few minutes drive from Nairn which is such a beautifully clean town with so many friendly people readily willing to chat. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and we hope to book again very soon.
