Set in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Juma cottages features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. All units in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. I liked everything. The first of many positives was the owner coming to pick me up at the dock. He came back because I had a big suitcase. After spending one night at Juma Cottages, I extended my booking for one more week. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Lake Toba. I strongly recommend Juma to anyone.

This Homestay is about 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. I had a pretty heavy suitcase with me and there was no way I could carry it on the uneven road and steep uphill. The owner, Marin, came with her scooter and picked up the suitcase right away. Upon the check-out was the same. Marin and Johanna were always available and very friendly. The view from our room was facing the lake and the beautifully maintained garden.

Manager Mr. Jae organized a car with a driver for me to see Samosir Island. Driver Mr. Rambo was also a very good driver and a guide. He was extremely cooperative. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Lovely and cozy guesthouse. Fantastic food with great view to the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely come again.
