Beautiful location, cosy house with a wood fireplace and comfortable couch. The hosts were lovely and left us treats for Christmas Eve. We also enjoyed the discount for Vok baths. Although we didn't get to see the Northern Lights due to snow/clouds- it was still a lovely stay. We woke up to a winter wonderland on Christmas day.

It was really cozy and comfy with great views to the lake and the mountains. The staff was really kind, especially the woman with yellow jacket. In the room there was water and homemade cookies, we loved that detail.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. We used the hot tub and sauna, which was great after a long day of travel. And we saw beautiful northern lights at this location. Elsa was kind to show them to us as they started up, and informed the other guests next to us also. They were a spectacular show of northern lights, and one of the highlights of our trip. We also got to give the sheep a bottle. So cute!

Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 3.9 km from Gufufoss, Túngata apartment features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very good location, excellent and very comfortable place. The welcome chocolate from the house owner was a very nice gift . If I come back to Iceland I will definitely visit this place again.

Featuring river views, Hjartarstaðir Guesthouse offers accommodation with patio, around 37 km from Gufufoss. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... newly equipped, everything is shiny and clean. the kitchenette is very helpful for those who wish to cook themselves. definitely recommended and would love to come back. thank you!
