The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of options for hiking and sightseeing nearby. Cozy and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. I’m so glad that we booked 2 nights - you’ll regret leaving after just one night. We didn’t see the lake monster, but did have beautiful aurora borealis shows both nights. This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip around Iceland.

Situated in Höfn in the South Iceland region, Miðsker 1 has a patio and lake views. The property features garden views. The views are idyllic! Vast panorama of nature on the front deck. The cabin was decorated nicely and very comfortable. Loved this place!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. We especially liked the surprise- breakfast. The owner baked us fresh bread which was delicious. Sauna and jacuzzi were great, too.

Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 3.9 km from Gufufoss, Túngata apartment features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a very nice, clean property on the edge of town, which is to say it is a 5 minute walk to a restaurant or to the edge of the harbor. It was new, well maintained, quiet, and private. it is sort of an add-on to another home where I think the owner lives, but we didn't see the owner, we just used a door code. Very easy. The town is quaint with incredible surroundings.
