We arrived and the super nice and friendly host welcomed us in the guesthouse. He gave us very useful hints for our travel and we had a very nice conversation. The guesthouse is put together with a lot of thoughts and love. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the decoration tells you a lot about Iceland and once you step into the house, you get a feeling of home. The location is also great, just a few min from the next village (with the secret lagoon). It is dark there in the night, so perfect to see the northern lights. The room we had, was quiet small, but just large enough to open all the language. It had comfortable hangers and a heater for we cloth and the bed was super comfortable. In short, we were super happy with our stay and that for a very very good price!

We loved that it had everything you could think of in a dome in terms of facilities and equipment. It was amazing that 4 people could fit comfortably with the 2 extra mattresses above the main unit. Although there’s no reception, management was on the phone with me and instantly responded to messages when we needed help.

Located in Hveragerði in the South Iceland region, Sigga’s home features a balcony. Sigga made a great effort to source gluten free food for one of us and provided a great variety of foods at breakfast. Sigga gave us the gluten free food, that remained after breakfast, to take with us.The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There was a TV in the room and ample towels and other supplies. The room and bathroom were well heated. The bathroom was large and had excellent supplies of whatever you might need. Sigga was very hospitable and friendly. She told us about the area and was knowledgeable about Icelandic history.
