Hassan, our host, went above and beyond by taking us on a captivating tour to explore the beautiful surroundings. Not only did Hassan ensure our stay was comfortable, but his hospitality and willingness to share insights about the local culture and history made our visit even more memorable. We felt safe and well-cared-for throughout our time at his place. Umm Quis, with Hassan as our guide, turned out to be a hidden gem, and I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone seeking not only a comfortable stay but also an opportunity to discover the unique charm of the surroundings with a knowledgeable and friendly host.

29 km from Al Yarmok University, ( b&b ) Gadara rent room is a recently renovated property set in Umm Qays and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Ibrahim is an excellent host. His B and B is spotless and comfortable. The air conditioning was cold and the shower water hot. He served me a delicious Jordanian breakfast including local fresh olive oil. The B and B is a ten minute walk from the ruins. To top it off, Ibrahim is the director of the Um Qeis museum, so if you have any questions on the history of the site right up to the 1980s when he and his family had to move out of the Ottoman village, he is your man. Highly recommended.

The house is fully equipped and beautifully adorned. I only stayed one night and wished I could have spent a week. Bed was comfy, plenty of hot water, and the wifi is strong.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Beit Al Baraka is set in Um Qais. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Some rooms include a seating area where you can relax. The room was cosy, comfortable and had great views of the surrounding mountains. The room was spotlessly clean! The ladies who checked us in and cooked our breakfast were really sweet.

Located just 29 km from Al Yarmok University, Beit Philodemus features accommodation in Umm Qays with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Owner is very well behaved...he made tea for us by himself....we got warm welcome by his daughter which was very much cordial....we asked for home made food and he cooked for maklouba and beef cofta and he dined with us also which was a very good expereince we ever had.......Overall experience was very good....we recommend this homestay/ hotel for staying at Umm qais....Thank you Ahmed for great hoapitality..

Everything was wonderful and professional dealing with the host and he wants support. Honestly, I recommend it to visit this place.

Set in Umm Qays, 29 km from Al Yarmok University and 38 km from St. Peter's Church, Gedara Guesthouse: enjoy unforgettable scenes offers a garden and air conditioning. We had the house to ourselves, clean and quiet. Two BR on main floor and two full BA. One BA on main floor and one a few steps down. Individual air-heat units kept the house comfortable (it was hot in Oct when we were there). Washing machine in kitchen. The house was being updated and did not effect our stay, but will possibly make it even nicer for future stays.

Situated 26 km from Ajloun Castle, Beit Al Fannan offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Beautiful house in an amazing location on a hillside overlooking the Pella ruins. The house and location were both so atmospheric and it really felt like you had escaped from it all. Also, the dinner and breakfast served were the best and the hosts who live a short walk away were very kind. We also recommend the Pella site tour with the female archaeologist guide (sorry forgotten her name!) very informative!
