Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. wonderful traditional ryokan. Our room was superb, one bedroom, sitting room transformed onto second bedroom for the evening, another small sitting area with tea/coffee making facilities. both public and private onset, laundry room and great breakfast with choice of Japanese or western dishes.

We stayed in a bunk bed room but it was spacious and comfortable with seats on the floor and a small table. The beds were really comfortable and the facilities of the guesthouse were great.

The room and bathroom had everything I needed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming (and spoke English too), and the facilities were clean and comfortable. As mentioned in the information, they do have pets, but don't let that scare you off if you aren't a pet person -- the animals didn't seem particularly interested in the guests anyway.

Built in 2018, Itomori is located a 7-minute walk form JR Takayama Station. The old town of Takayama is 6 minutes on foot, while Takayama Jinya is a 10-minute stroll. Excellent location, close to everything but still quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well.
