Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Minn Sanjo is set less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple, a 11-minute walk from Gion Shijo Station and 1.4 km from Heian Shrine. Very clean and new, quite spacious, and close to the river and many restaurants and shops.

初音(はつね) is located in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, 1.5 km from Kyoto Station, 1.4 km from Gion Shijo Station and 2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The manager is very friendly, and the location is just too peaceful, near two metro stations. The room was bigger than in others hotels, and so comfy, I really will come back for sure!

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Gion Shijo Station, INA HOUSE GION has a shared lounge and a washing machine. Location is very good and the neighborhood is amazing. It is easy to arrive via subway (around 10min walk). I liked the possibility to leaveth bags locked in the reception while we were waiting for the checking time. Bedroom has a small kitchen and washing machine. Very complete.

Attractively set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Gionmachi, Minn Gion is situated 300 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 600 metres from Gion Shijo Station and less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple. I fly to Kyoto from HK with my family this Autumn. Since we needed a big and comfortable room for my parents we found a 600fts suite from Minn Gion at a lovely price. The location is excellent it is 3mins walk from the Sanjo subway exit. The Tozai line could bring you to Nijojo-mae and connect to the Biwako line if you wish to visit the lake. The hotel is close to the Kiyomizu temple too easy to get there by Uber. I did read the comments before we stayed some travelers complained there were no staff on duty at the front desk all the time, but that was not my case when I got there! Every time I walked in and out there was a staff, their English is fair but they were extremely helpful they assisted us in booking two dinners in Kyoto. The room is clean and tidy, they even have a washing machine in the Executive room. There is a disabled-friendly washroom on the ground floor fyi. I highly recommend the Spa & Sauna room if you stay with your family. It cost 8000 yen but that 1.5 hours of privacy is definately worth it!

Located in Kyoto, 1.1 km from Nijo Castle and 1.7 km from the centre, Rinn Shiki Juraku provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Located in the centre of Shimmachidōri, 1.1 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace and 1.6 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum, K-style gosyonishi provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and... Beautiful, modern, spacious apartment that had exceeded all my expectations. Very helpful and friendly owner. Convenient location, calm and relaxing neighborhood. Had a wonderful stay.

Offering sea views, 舟宿 壱 is an accommodation located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine. Very beautiful old style Japanese local house but mixed with modern style. An entire house is fabulous with the view and place. Nice free space for living room and table tennis. The relaxing space next to the sea is very good vibe. The staff is very helpful to explain everything in the house, provide the house tour and help to manage dinner and breakfast.
