Located along the Nam Khan river in Luang Prabang, Ban Vivanh chambres d'hotes is located a short walk fro the city centre. The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.

This hotel has been the highlight of my SouthEast Asia trip. It is an amazing hotel, with cabins located in a tropical garden. Mine also had an amazing river view, with breakfast served daily on the balcony. Although the cabins seem a little small and basic in the pictures, they are rather big and with all the amenities. Also, all the staff is great, treating you like family. Specially Mr. Thy, he was very kind and accommodating.

A very pleasant stay, friendly and good service. Location right at the morning market and close to the night market. They will arrange anything you need, and offer a good breakfsst.

A 3-minute walk to Night Market and Xieng Thong Temple, Villa Ban Lakkham offers modern air-conditioned rooms with river views from a private balcony. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free rental bicycles. Its a wonderful property close to all the main attractions. Super clean and well maintained. Breakfast is great, with local food options, and is served right near the riverside! They even provide cycles for free! Try to get a first floor room, cause they come with small balconies overlooking the Mekong river and the street. Wonderful stay all in all.
