The set up of the room was cozy and comfortable. All the basics were provided, the place was clean and the atmosphere was homey.

Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

Offering garden views, Jenny airport lounge is an accommodation situated in Vientiane, 2.9 km from Wat Sisaket and 2.9 km from Hor Phra Keo. We stayed in the ground floor room, and it felt like a brand-new space, as if we were the very first guests to ever use it. It was modern, clean, nice bathroom and a stunning view of the Mekong River (Thailand). The room had a door opening to the garden, with tables and lights in the evenings. We immediately felt at home here. Jenny and the attentive staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even printed our documents (e-visa) for us and provided a ride to the airport. Additionally, they offered scooter rental. Although perfect for an overnight stay near the airport, we would have wanted to stay longer. The warm ambiance and amenities made it an unforgettable stay.

Ban Saylomleng Residence is situated in Vientiane, 6.4 km from Wat Sisaket, 6.4 km from Hor Phra Keo, as well as 10 km from Thatluang Stupa. Very nice owners and everything. There is a funny neighbor goose 🪿 which looks more scary than it really is

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Sunset Mekong Apartment is located in Vientiane, 2.6 km from Laos National Museum and 2.7 km from Wat Sisaket. Balcony to watch over to Mekong and Thailand. It had a little kitchen. Overall nice and clean.

Pikul Apartment Hotel, a property with a garden, is set in Nong Khai, less than 1 km from Tha Sadet Market, 3.6 km from Nong Khai Train Station, as well as 7.5 km from Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge. Lovely well kept hotel set around a beautiful courtyard down a quiet lane only a few mins walk from the charming market and the Mekong promenade, Nong Kha really is a fabulous town. Would have definitely stayed longer had we not had a flight to catch from Udon thani. The staff at Pikul are very helpful and very good English speakers! Dom in particular is a mine of information regarding the town itself, restaurants and surrounding areas etc, I wouldn't hesitate on taking his advice on matters local or matters far & wide.. he is one top fella and enlightened our stay while there!

Located in the centre of Nong Khai City and beside the Mekong River, Mut Mee Garden Guest House is only a 5-minute walk from Tha Sadej Indochina Market. El lloc és perfecte. Petites cabanes enmig de la vegetació, amb una petita terrassa, mobles de fusta i canya i finestres amb mosquitera ideals per a les persones que els agrada dormir amb la finestra oberta i no haver de connectar l'aire condicionat (tot i que a les habitacions hi ha aire condicionat i ventilador). Llits còmodes amb mosquitera. Bany fantàstic, la dutxa té el terra de pedres. També hi ha una gran tina de terrissa per dutxar-se de la manera "tradicional". I tot això amb vistes al Mekong!

It was perfect for what I was looking for, quiet, comfortable, secure, close to the riverside and town centre (10 minute walk) and close to a gym. There is a coffee shop downstairs which has lovely food, coffee and other drinks. There is a seperate kitchen to cook some simple meals for yourself and a seperate lounge area which is very nice to sit around in. The apartment is very spacious. The owner let me check in early and was very helpful for any additional requests that I had. I ended up staying an extra week, I liked it that much.
