I really loved the location in nature, the house was full of plants which made me feel like in a fairytale. The owner and his brother are just the kindest people ever. They were so helpful and nice, they even picked me up and dropped me at the bus stop.

Pontos felvilágosítást kaptunk a Mirissaba közlekedő busz indulásáról (ezt külön megérdeklődték nekünk, amit nagyon értékeltünk) és a buszmegállóról. Reggeli a tetőteraszon, szép kilátás a környékre.

Small boutique hotel surrounded by paddy fields, other plantations and lovely garden. Very nice ambience to relax. The Staff was exceptional, very attentive and hospitable. Staff cooked very tasty authentic Sri Lankan meals. The internet worked great. A great experience overall. Will definitely visit again.

Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. We were welcomed by Justin with fresh juice and shown around our beautiful villa. Each room was beautiful as were the grounds and the pool. The food was excellent.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The guesthouse was very clean and the room had the air conditioner. The owner was incredibly nice with us, when we arrived it was very hot and he gave us a delicious king coconut to drink. He brang us to have a bird watching at the evening in a beautiful area and he arranged for us the safari in Yala the next day. I highly recommend this place!

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved this place, we were greeted with beautiful smiles from all in this little family. This is a very basic family run hotel, but it is placed right at the lakeside, you can watch birds from your veranda, and you will wake up to the sounds of nature in the early morning at sunrise. The food was tasty and gorgeous, and the little restaurant has only 2 tables, but the setting is shady and very beatiful. We had a whole day safari in Yala, the drivning was rough at times, but we saw very many animals including bear and leopard, and it was well worth the money. The tree house at the lakeside is a perfect location, and we hope to come back here again. Highly recommended!!!

Featuring free WiFi, New Vilard Rest is set in Tissamaharama, 2 km from Tissa Wewa (Lake). Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a bath. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property.... Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host was very welcoming and received us with wood apple juice. The room was exactly as described, with a good AC working perfectly and hot shower. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day. For the day with the safari, the host provided breakfast when getting back, which was very nice. The homemade dinner was very tasty and abundant. Also the host helped us to take the bus nearby the accommodation. Highly recommended if you go to Tissa and want a peaceful place to stay. The only minus could be that WiFi works well outside, in the room the signal is weak.
