We recently had the privilege of staying at the AHAVAH in Mauritius, and we are enchanted by this hidden gem! The accommodation is quite exquisite, tastefully decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the pristine cleanliness, truly impressed me. Waking up to the gentle sounds of birds and the warm Mauritian sunrise on the terrace was a wonderful experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens and cozy outdoor seating areas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. It's an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The true magic of AHAVAH, however, lies in the genuine warmth and hospitality of its hosts, who treated us like family. Their personalised care and attention to our needs and preferences were unparalleled. ASHLEY and his parents went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only comfortable but also filled with memorable experiences. The private tours Ashely suggested (South of Mauritius with ABISHEK and private boating tour to visit islands with YASH/VIKAS) provided an amazing experience and worth doing. AHAVAH is not just a place to stay; it's an experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected to the beauty of Mauritius culture. Offering a garden and garden view, Shanti Nivas is situated in Poste de Flacq, 19 km from Le Touessrok Golf Course and 23 km from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. The host was very welcoming and friendly. He helped me, first time traveller to Mauritius, with transport and other useful information. Breakfast was also amazing. It felt as good as home. It was a lovely and comfortable stay. I hope to go again.

Featuring garden views, Casa Frangipani Mauritius provides accommodation with balcony, around 600 metres from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach. The host is a kind German lady. She is probably the best host I've met so far. Communication advises and the level or care is beyond awesome

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. The Host Rajesh and Madhvi were very hospitable. We rented a car thru them at a good rate. 👍

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place. The hosts, Sang and Roshan, are the so pleasant and accommodating, they really made us feel at home. The food is delicious. I highly recommend having dinner there - anyone who doesn’t is missing out!

Set on the banks of the Grande Riviere South East river, Otentic, Eco Tent Experience offers a glamping experience featuring a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities. We highly highly recommend the lodge. It makes an immediate impression as you come in - everything is very thought through and you notice tiny details everywhere: the decoration, the good vibes, pleasant music, the staff as well as the other tourists are friendly and down to earth. Julien personally welcomed us and gave us a tour of the premises. Food is exceptional (very fresh, plenty of vegetables and fruit which we really appreciated, some local Mauritian dishes) and so is the staff! A range of activities is available from hikes to free boat shuttles to the nearby island. The booklet provided was very informative (with recommendations for restaurants, attractions, etc.) - we wished we had that info at the beginning of our Mauritius trip. Unfortunately my partner had a medical emergency on our last day. The staff and Julien, the hotel owner, organised everything necessary and rushed him to the hospital in his vehicle. Having a health issue in a foreign country was stressful, but they supported us so much and made everything work. We're now back home in good health. We hope to be able to come back some time soon!

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. Very nice and comfortable flat, really kind lady helping us with everything, like reservation of a boat trip, money changing etc., good location near the sea, perfect was the water filter in nice lounge, speed WiFi..

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Viccos Villa - Brand New Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce is located in Trou dʼ Eau Douce. Home away from home. A very spacious property with all mod cons. I stayed at Viccos Villa for three weeks and upon arrival I was very impressed to see that the fridge was fully stocked with an extensive range of provisions provided for. A very nice touch indeed. The property is new and spick and span and the house maid Mehzabine, provided exceptional service. Vikram, my host is very attentive and all needs were catered for from local restaurants, to excursions and provided any extras that were requested.
