Kerstin is the best host I have ever had, and I have traveled to so many destinations for the last 15 years. She made us feel welcome since we arrived and continued to be helpful and genuinely friendly during our stay. The apartment looks like it has just been renovated. Everything is in excellent condition, neat and clean. With Kerstin's attention to detail, the apartment has everything you might ever need, and the design is pleasing and calming. What we loved the most was the terrace, where we spent most of our time during breakfasts and dinners. Kerstin has equipped us with mosquito-repellant stripes, which we used every night on the terrace while playing card games. A bed is exceptionally comfortable and should be great for most people's liking because my partner, who usually has back pains, slept well every night. Kerstin helped us organize the day trip to 5 islands which was an extraordinary experience and highly recommended. She offered us a free ride to the meeting point, and her husband, Mr. Visham, was super kind in organizing watching the Première League football game one night with his friends. We had such a good time. Kerstin has the answer to all your questions, has great recommendations for places to visit, knows where to send you to enjoy a nice dinner, and is willing to organize it for you. If you want to enjoy the most of all surrounding beaches, rent a scooter with Paradisa rental, which is just around the corner, and Kerstin can assist you in getting in contact <3

A continental breakfast is available daily at the holiday home and guests can make use of car rental services offered at the property. This place is a miracle. I felt if we were in James Cameron's Pandora. Fantastic terraces with great view to palm trees, river and ocean. Tropical birds are continuously chirping. In the evening you can hear frog concert. Our hosts were super kind. We arrived a bit earlier but we could go to our "new home", Rajesh and his wife Madvi organized a boat trip for us (GRSE waterfall, Ile aux Cerfs and lunch on the beach) and in the morning we got bananas from them to breakfast (which we could share with monkies during the boat trip. They booked table for us in Satish's Carambole Snack. They recommended which hospital to go when our daughter had a too close connection with a sea urchin. One day Madvi also cooked for us. There are lots of things to do in the neighbourhood. You can also walk to the top of the GRSE waterfall where you can even swim in the water and if you are lucky, you can also meet monkeys on the path. There are nice beaches, nice hindu temples, nice mountains to walk, nice towns around.

Location: the place is very private and peaceful. It's a nice location to visit the whole north east coast. Food: the food is cooked with love, with a perfect fusion of Mauritian and Thai cuisine. Staff: the family that owns this place has poured all their heart into it! Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. the property sits in front of a private white sandy beach overlooking one of the most beautiful lagoon of Mauritius. I loved the house: from the view to the furniture, it’s all cured in detail and the pictures are exactly like reality. You’re really waking up with the ocean in front of you. You can have breakfast on the terrace and dinner too, it’s never too windy. The house is equipped with all the commodities including towels to use on the beach, shower gel, conditioner; oil, vinegar, pans and all sort of tools to cook. A special note for the amazing hospitality of Sabrina. She waited for us until late in the evening and arranged an amazing boat trip (which I highly recommend… it’s 90$ per person all day on a boat with lunch on an island included, a real bargain). The house was cleaned almost daily and you could ask anything to the cleaners who were there every morning.

The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.
