The room is clean and the view is amazing from the terrace. You look right into the jungle when having breakfast. The breakfast is also very good. The place is a little further away (30 min walk) from the village, but Luka (or his assistant Zul) will bring you and pick you up every time you go the rainforest or the village. Also Luka and Zul will help you out with everything you need, including arranging tours. We would definitely recommend this place and we would love to go back! Thanks Luka and Zul!

Durian Chalet felt like home. The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

It is 270 metres to Taman Negara Jetty, while Taman Negara National Park is 300 metres away. Mat Leon Village is 290 metres from the property. I came for a couple of days, and in the end extended my stay for a whole week. Very good location, close to restaurants and the jetty. The room is simple but very cozy. Bed is super comfortable. I felt safe with a huge net above it. Rooms have little balconys with a nice view. The owners are super helpful and friendly.

The balcony is big and spacious with a sitting area and a rack to dry clothes (much needed after swimming in waterfalls and getting splashed on the boat). The room is so clean and spacious with a little sitting area for breakfast coffee. We were more comfortable here than in any other guest house in our month traveling in Malaysia. 11/10 would recommend!!!

I hurt my foot on a jungle tour and the owner was so kind and went to the restaurant nearby and came back with a pack of ice to cool my ankle. Liked it here very much!!!
