In the yard is a very good location to watch and photograph the aurora. We were very lucky to catch the aurora explosion, which was very shocking. It is very cold at night in winter, and you can go back to the house to warm up immediately after watching the aurora. The view is very good, and the scenery on the other side of the window is also very good. It takes ten minutes to walk to the seaside. It is a quiet and comfortable town. It takes about half an hour to drive to Hasten/Segla and hike, and about 50 minutes to the viewing point along the way to Senja Island, but the scenery on the road is very good and the location is very convenient.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in February and we could not have asked for a more tranquil and picturesque village. The apartment was super warm, cozy, and dry despite the wet, cold weather, and the rooms were made up beautifully. The place is incredibly large and spacious with all the linens and toiletries we needed. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking and the large table was the perfect space to eat dinner while looking out on the sea. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and everything was very clean. We definitely look forward to coming back again!

A beautiful, practical cabin, in which the space has been very well utilised. It is well equipped, and has all the facilities most will need. The heated floors in the hallway were nice. Really lovely bathroom. The view and the surroundings are beautiful, and we really appreciated how private and secluded it was - on our second morning we woke up to the sight several moose chewing on branches not far from the cabin. The hosts are very friendly, and they were quick to answer. All in all, we had a great stay, and feel very comfortable recommending it to others.

Excellent sweeping views of the shore and distant mountains, nice walking and hiking opportunities without having to drive anywhere, excellent small Joker grocery store a short walk away. Included ample cookware, linens and towels, laundry detergent, reading materials. Furniture was comfortable.
