Boasting free bikes and views of city, Origo Leilighetshotell- Øvre Storgate 5 is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Drammen, 43 km from Oslo Central Station. This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

Totally clean and cute, slept so well, bed very comfy. You only share with another room and the owner. He's the nicest ever. Clean bathroom and complementary tea and coffee. 15 min walking distance to Oslo S. Loved it💖

Wonderful apartment, lovely facilities and absolutely spectacular host. Per Christian and his daughter were warm and welcoming, we shared drinks and stories and I had an all round great time. Would highly recommend!

Boasting garden views, Fjøset på Knardal features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 32 km from Akershus Fortress. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a patio. Wonderful offer. The friendly hostess met us, told us about the history of the guest house and gave advice on how best to visit Oslo. I really liked everything. 10/10
