Buffet and continental breakfast options with fruits and cheese are available each morning at the campground. Such a special stay. Communication was brilliant and friendly, pick up was easy (Mintrab castle, 5 rial/car) would recommend as the drive was amazing and great to chat and take pics. Dinner was delicious (5 rial pp). Lots of activities to choose from, but we just relaxed and soaked it all in. A fire to end the evening. A quick note, we came after a rare bout of bad weather, but big thanks to the team for communication and helping us plan our trip. We also couldn’t believe how clean everything was, especially after the rain!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I’m not just recommending this place, I say it’s a must! The hosts have lived most of their lives in Al Wasil but also travelled internationally so cater well to guests from different parts of the world. All speak good English. With regards to the facilities there is a tent that will keep you sufficiently warm on cold nights. The shower and toilet facilities are very comfortable for use. The food provided was delicious and modestly priced. The big reason we are here is of course the nature. It’s very peaceful as there is no camp nearby and you’ll witness the most glorious night sky. You will be surrounded by dunes which are good for sand bashing or a morning walk for the lovely sunrise.

Really polite and helpful, but not intrusive of privacy. Perfect check in and check out experience. Amazing location in the middle of the desert and 5 minutes walking from main sunset picture photos. Located in Shāhiq in the Al Sharqiyah region, Crescent Desert Private Camp provides accommodation with free private parking. This luxury tent offers a terrace. Outdoor dining is also possible at the luxury tent. We had a magical stay at Crescent Camp. The camp has a smaller amount of tents than others so is more peaceful and a more authentic experience. The tent and beds are clean and comfortable, there is tea, coffee and fruit available 24/7 in the main tent. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and had a variety of options to please everyone. Although some people have mentioned in their reviews that the meals and activities are overpriced, they are more affordable compared to other camps. There are balls and a volleyball net available for children to plan with. We enjoyed a wonderful dune bashing adventure which the whole family loved. It was magical waking at 4am for a bathroom trip and gazing up at the Milky Way above.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. SAFARI-Glamping offers two private tents and 2 huts between the dunes in Sharqiyah sands. A small camp with only three tents, and we were alone during 2 nights. Very nice place ,good food and Azim, our host, very friendly! Watch out! No hot water or electric socket
