The staff were amazing! we’ve been there for only couple of nights but we really became friends with Esteban and Benjie. they helped us a lot with planning our trip! the property was clean and new with great facilities.

The room was better than expected with amazing view. The hosts were very friendly and helpful to organize tours. Breakfast was regular amount but fresh and tasty.

My main advice to my friends visiting Huaraz - stay here. Chris (the owner) is extremely friendly and has so much local knowledge. I was able to plan all my trips with him. The hostel is really clean and cosy - with a fireplace, great beds and huge terrace to chill and watch the sunset. In my 3+ months traveling, Chris has been the best host. Thank you :)

Hotel Churup offers accommodation in Huaraz. Guests will be served a complimentary breakfast buffet daily, consisting of freshly ground, roasted and brewed coffee, fruits, seasonal vegetables and... Beautiful hotel in a good location. The room was comfortable and the public areas (lobby, breakfast room, courtyard, terrace) relaxing and airy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast. A fantastic hotel for the price.

In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.
