We loved our stay at Elmars home. It was very nice, we could even take Elmars motorbicycle to drive to the city, they prepared a nice breakfast and provides us with everything we needed. Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. Senor Eduardo is very welcoming and an excellent cook. He made us feel at home, helped organize tours and even came with us in the night to see the baby caimans in a pond on his land. The location is very quiet and secluded, the habitacion very intimate and in the night you can hear the multitude of birds that inhabit the area. Also, a monkey was on our roof during the night.

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. The breakfast was delicious, you could eat as much as you want, and the rooms were very comfortable, there were some mosquitoes though, but I think it's because it's the rainy season. The staff was great!
