Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. Absolutely excellent accommodation. We wish we had been able to stay longer.

Družinsko vodena nastanitev Quinta De La Rosa se nahaja na vinogradniškem posestvu, na desnem bregu reke Douro, 2 km stran od mesta Pinhão. This is such a nice hotel in a beautiful location close to Pinhao (walking distance). The view over Douro river is breathtaking and the different facilities so nicely renovated. The breakfast one of the best I have ever had and the dinner restaurant served super good food - no need to eat in the village. Stay at the hotel and enjoy the facility, the view and the great food. Of course the wines are excellent and also - to our surprise - the beer.

This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Amazing house, with beautiful bedrooms. Really peaceful spot. With gorgeous views of the river and the nature. Outside pool really well located and a cool inside pool. The owners are amazing and talented storytellers and hosts. The dinner was spectacular, the wine, the meat, all amazing.

Nastanitev FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz je v mestu Lamego, 17 min hoje od znamenitosti Cerkev Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, in nudi klimatsko napravo ter brezplačen WiFi. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
