La Casa das Proteas se encuentra en Sítio da Felpa (São Jorge), en la isla de Madeira, y tiene vistas al océano Atlántico. Un lugar muy tranquilo, limpio, cómodo y con muchos detalles, con vistas excepcionales y con un estacionamiento muy seguro donde dejar el coche, además con una atención muy especial que te hace sentir en confianza plena !. Los desayunos eran deliciosos y a voluntad. Asimismo tuvimos una cena abundante que nos dejó completamente satisfechos. Teresa nos dejó preparado el desayuno del día que íbamos a partir, porque salíamos muy temprano !! No se puede ser mas gentil !!. En fin, volveremos sin lugar a dudas !!

La Casa Da Piedade, situada en una casa restaurada del siglo XVIII, ofrece un salón con chimenea, un jardín al aire libre con barbacoa y habitaciones decoradas en tonos vivos. the garden and building were gorgeous, the staff extremely kind.

Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels se encuentra en Porto Moniz, en la región de Madeira, cerca de Piscinas naturales de Porto Moniz. The location is great, studio is spacious and well equiped. Nice facilities and lovely breakfast with beautiful view. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. Special thanks to Ana Katarina, Dilia and Adriana for welcoming us.

Casal da Penha Apartments está en Funchal, a 1,8 km de Playa Almirante Reis y a 600 metros del centro, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado, wifi gratis y terraza. The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay, clean and well appointed. The restaurant downstairs, owned by the same people served excellent food and offered a discount for those renting the apartment. The host Maikel was excellent, attentive and generous, allowing me to stay for a final night free of charge when it became apparent that I had made a mistake with my departure date. If I return to Madeira, I will definitely consider these apartments again. 10 out of 10

Fort Bay Suite Apartments está en Machico, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Sao Roque y a 300 metros de Playa de Banda d'Alem. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín. Beautifully renovated apartment right in the center of Machico. While Machiko is not a touristy destination it's a perfect place to stay if you want to access several hikes in the area and we loved getting the local flavor of the town which is much less touristy than Funchal. The apartment was perfect in the best location one block from the water with lots of restaurants within a block, including a delicious coffee shop across the street. Completely new and clean. Everything was thought of down to the last detail, including a care package of local goodies. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. I initially was concerned about comments regarding construction, but while there was some construction the noise did not bother us at all.

Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.
