This is literally an old mansion that has been nicely modernized but retains an immense amount of the original character and details. Decent amount of parking on the street in front. Great breakfast. We had the better room with a massive king bed. Modern bathroom. Good heaters. You have the use of many of the common rooms for relaxing. Library. Pool table. Sitting room. Massive dining rooms all in period decor. Amelia who operates this home is very lovely and pleasant.

Sparsely decorated, but with everything you need. The staff were wonderful, especially Madelena who gave us a full tour of the place, including a tour around their goat sheds next door. We got to cuddle baby goats! Also a fabulous breakfast.

Situated in Piódão, Love, made in xisto features accommodation with a pool with a view, a balcony and garden views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of... Fantastic place in the mountains. Located in a schist village in some ways more charming than Piódão. Cozy place with a simple but more than ample breakfast. And all the firewood you could want for the fabulous fireplace. Thanks so much!
