People indeed make a difference, and that's why we would return without hesitation. The warmth we experienced from Fissa, Antoine, and Tom was incredible! We felt genuinely welcomed and enjoyed two superb dinners with them. Sharing the table with other guests, we engaged in delightful conversations, although our french was almost not existing, and savored a glass (or two) of rum. Unforgettable! A special thank you to Tom, who provided unwavering support throughout our stay. Even when we faced a memory storage issue, he came to our rescue (and sacrificed his sleep ^^). The next little house is approximately 50 meters away, ensuring ample privacy. Ours even had a Jacuzzi, a delightful addition after a hike. We adore animals, so it was charming to see a lovely dog and a donkey strolling around. While the house and its furnishings weren't extravagant, they had everything you needed and, most importantly, were impeccably clean.

Nesting birds, farmland, palmtrees, mountains and a very well kept garden with flowers everywhere! The lady of the house keeps the property in an excellent state and everything is as clean as in a 5 star hotel. Furthermore, she is very attentive and serves an epic breakfast, directs you to the few restaurants around and the property is very close to hiking trails that go into Mafate.

Well equipped property with full privacy and gorgeous garden with mountains view. Most of the groceries for breakfast were already in the fridge when we arrived, and a fresh bread were supplied in the mornings. The property is 10 minutes drive from Coll de Boufes trailhead which is very comfortable if you plan to hike to La Nouvelle (very recommended)

The Apartment is really nice furnished, was perfectly clean and has a homely feel to it. It's greatly situated, quiet and has everything you might need. The Host Linda is amazingly friendly and responsive, she answered all questions and even though I don't speak any french she was still trying her best to make the communication work. Really thank you

El Vos kaz Hoareau ofrece vistas al jardín y alojamiento con terraza y hervidor de agua a unos 19 km del mirador Trou de Fer. I think we got a bigger room than the one we booked, which was basically a small house. it has everything you could need and a big bath, which was nice after hiking! we used it as a base to do day hikes.

La Villa Le Jacaranda se encuentra en Salazie y ofrece alojamiento con terraza. Bonito entorno, casa amplia y bien equipada. Lo mejor su anfitrión David, hizo todo lo posible por dejarnos entrar antes de la hora del checking. Gracias por la ayuda prestada con un pequeño problema que tuvimos a nuestra llegada a Reunión.

L'escale du Tec-Tec ofrece vistas a la montaña y alojamiento con jardín, salón compartido y terraza a unos 5,6 km del Cirque de Salazie. Really nice and big house in the middle of the owners banana fields. The view and quietness was amazing. Each room was big on its own and the kitchen had everything to cook and season. The owner even brought us fresh peaches and bananas right from the trees for breakfast.
