Providing mountain views, Kinigi Cottage in Kinigi provides accommodation, a garden, a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Kinigi Cottage is a hidden gem among the overpriced lodges of the area. We stayed in the second floor room with the huge balcony, and we had amazing views of the volcanoes nearby. The property is walking distance from the Dian Fossey museum and central to all activities in the region. Our kids had a great time playing in the beautiful gardens all around the building, and the indoor and outdoor fires added a great touch of character to our evening. We had a wonderful dinner (extra cost) and an even better breakfast with a full spread of goodies (included). I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in the region. Perfect.

Set 43 km from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, URUGANO VIRUNGA PALACE offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. Excellent accommodation, and was kept very clean. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. They really know how to look after their guests with the extra touches such as cleaning our boots and car - this was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also good. I will definitely return to stay here next time I'm in the area!

With garden views, Under Volcanoes View Guest House is set in Nyarugina and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. Wow wow wow… can I also give 100 stars? A very Cousy but basic place to stay at the Vulcanos Nationalpark! However the best thing about the Vulcanoes view guest house is the staff. No wish is to big and everything is made possible! For example they carried the table, chairs and food on to a field. I never had dinner with such an amazing view!! So I just can recommend to stay here.
