The rooms in Estancia Los Plátanos feature private bathrooms. Room service is provided. First of all, a very warm and sincerely friendly welcome by the hostess, we immediately felt very welcome. Very beautifully situated on a hill with panoramic views. Nice room (good bed and good shower) and cozy common room with excellent WiFi. We also did some great activities with the host (hiking, horseback riding). He was also very hospitable. Because we couldn't immediately go somewhere else for lunch and dinner without driving far, we also asked for those meals to be provided. They were very tasty (I don't eat meat, I got delicious vegetarian dishes, but it's best to let them know in advance of course). We had not agreed on a price in advance, but upon settlement it turned out to be a very correct price. That also gives a very good feeling. It was a coincidence that during our trip through Uruguay, we were at the estancia on our wedding anniversary, but our dinner was decorated very nicely, including candles, very thoughtful. In any case, it is a day that we will never forget. Finally, the swimming pool is a great added value, the ideal place for sunset. In short, this estancia is highly recommended!
