Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The room was spacious, well equipped and elegant. During the load shedding the WiFi and lights still worked. There was also a heating option. The breakfast was overwhelming. We could choose between freshly baked, warm scones and croissants for starters. There were also fresh fruits, granola and yogurt. Last but not least we could choose between all types of eggs with bacon/mushrooms/tomatoes/avocado etc. The hosts were very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for wine tastings. The location was very quiet and safe.

Situated in Green Point, close to Cape Town's famous V&A Waterfront is this 5-star aparthotel offering guests the convenience of homely comfort coupled with excellent service. The apartment we were given was luxuriously furnished. It had all modern appliances. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It conveniently located close to the V and A waterfront.

The service is exceptional! nothing was too much trouble and the team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The front desk arranged dinner bookings for us. Breakfast is included the luxury of an a la carte menu, the coffee, pasties and cooked breakfast prepared and served professionally. The spa treatment (couples massage) is out of this world - again one of the best we’ve experienced. Overall this was the best place we’ve stayed in, in Hermanus.
