The staff could not have been friendlier, from my initial welcome through to my farewell. The room and its balcony are clean, unadorned and bright. Situated a five-minute walk from the harbour front and only one block off a beautiful sandy beach with crystal-clear waters, it’s a perfect place to stay if you don’t want fancy rooms and sea views. I will go back there.

The cleaner came in once or twice a week to replace the bedding, towels, empty the bins etc. I would stay here again.

I thought the concept of a minimalist but efficient room was terrific. Who needs more to ensure a relaxing night and to have a bolt hole to escape the heat and crowds in high tourist season.
