I was surprised to find such a modern and well designed property. The vegetarian food was excellent. The location in the middle of a well forested area was perfect for my purposes. It is definitely a specialist facility and others who might not read through the details (no alcohol, no tv, no meat) might not be so happy.

Beautiful setting and the bungalow was perfect for our family of six (they brought in an extra bed for us)! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and content. We were especially impressed with Daniel, Suyú, and Sara. The restaurant was great and the air conditioning was really nice. Beautiful grounds!

everything was just perfect. no words can describe this wonderful place. The food, the people, the location, the lodge everything was amazing!!! we even had a personal guide and he was the best. the tours inside the lodge are for free and they offer cooking classes. we loved our stay and it was one of the best trips we ever had! The location in the forest is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are friendly, helpful and highly charismatic. We would recommend the Playa Selva Lodge to anyone who intends to explore a tropial forest or simply relax.
