The apartment was clean and really nice. Short walk to the beach, free parking, local supermarket behind the corner. EV rapid car charger 2 min walking (there are not many in Bournemouth). Amazing restaurant ViaRoma 5 min walking.

Fortescue Lodge is a gem. Check in instructions were great, parking was easy, the property was spotless on arrival, the hot tub was ready for use, and a bottle of prosecco and biscuits were very kindly left on the table. The bathroom whilst small is luxurious, the shower especially. Living room area is well lit and comfy with a big television. Nice kitchenette; the instant boiling water tap was great. Bedroom was spotless and comfy again. The hot tub was easy to use, very relaxing, and the garden felt very private. Fairly easy and quick to get into the city centre (I used the Beryl rental bikes/scooters) - I quite liked the fact this place was in a slightly quieter area of Bournemouth. Very comfortable stay, good value, would stay again.

The owner of the property,Teresa,was very welcoming and provided complementary toiletries cookies tea and coffee, nothing was to much trouble for her. The property is in a lovely quiet location about 20 minute walk to the centre of Poole and five minutes walk from local amities. We made the most of our stay and payed the extra to use the hot tub. Great value for money we will certainly stay again when we are in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen in the room, which we might use on a future visit. It was good to have access to a swimming pool, although the water was much hotter than we liked.

I stayed before visiting the Russell Coates Musuem which is connected to the hotel, so I learnt a bit about the history. It's a busy hotel, but as solo traveller I prefer that because its fully open. (The place I stayed in before the bar and restaurant were shut). Staff were very helpful and the left luggage facility was very useful. Room (small double) was warm and comfortable and the shower came out at a decent temperature. Great for a short trip

The host/owner was wonderfully welcoming, kind, helpful, and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The apartment and garden and whole surroundings were just beautiful. We extended our stay and still didn't want to leave! Tip: Hire their private beach hut for a beach day, SO worth it!
