The guest house is built on a steep forested slope adjacent to a beautiful waterfall. It is surrounded by forest vegetation and creatures, and the lovely host will look for things to show you and tell you about. Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

Excellent proximity to Sinharaja rainforest Lovely family who made us feel welcome during our stay, and who prepared an excellent dinner and breakfast for us. In particular, they let us use the facilities after our check out time due to finishing our rainforest tour late Our view from the lodge was amazing This location gave us the best value for money out of all the places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka

What an amazing place! Incredible view and location. Dumith and his family were extremely accommodating, helpful and caring. The room is well-equipped, private, clean and has proper Wifi. It has a really nice terrace where you can listen and watch all sort of birds pass by. We were treated like family members. They always went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Dumith was always happy to show us around and accompanied us all the way to Deniyaya city to make sure we get on the right bus. Highly recommended and will be back.
