Quando chega-se no hotel ainda no barulho da rua, a gente não imagina o que tem lá atras. É uma verdadeira surpresa. O lugar tem uma ótima energia. Tudo muito simples, mas a gente percebe que há dedicação do proprietário. A comida é deliciosa e a querida cozinheira adaptou vários pratos conforme os nossos gostos. Os drinks também são bem feitos e o pessoal que estava comigo gostou muito. A equipe toda é muito simpática e prestativa. O cantinho na praia é muito bonito. Dormir e acordar com o som do mar é terapêutico O pessoal limpa todo o quintal e defuma com incenso, como um ritual matinal. O melhor lugar onde fiquei no Sri Lanka. Logo em frente há uma lojinha de roupas lindinhas onde o casal proprietário é muito gente boa. Além dos preços muito justos, ele ainda dão um brindezinho. Fora o sorriso no rosto, o que faz a gente se sentir no Brasil. Como moramos na Alemanha, sentía mos saudades de um atendimento tão amigável.

Very nice and cosy , authentic accommodation. The villa has a beautiful terrace. The owners and staff are very nice , direct and helpful to the end. They were immediately helpful with any request we had. The breakfast was plentiful , they also prepared European food on our request. The pool and surroundings are very nice and peaceful. We were the only ones in the villa , so it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. It was like having a private accommodation with private staff.

The host is an extraordinary person and his team is outstanding in its friendliness and service. Whatever you need or wish to do or know there is always someone to help. We stayed in the Villa facing the pool; lovely view and perfect to sit near the pool or swim. The tea plantation with the different trees and animals creates a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay. The Sri Lankan food served was extremely delicious and varied.

The bungalows were very nicely made, with a lot of attention to detail and considering the needs of the guests. We really enjoyed our stay. It was spotless clean and all amenities were super new. There was also a shared kitchen in the garden that we can use. In the morning we were surprised by the size and quality of the breakfast. Owners really do their job with care and love. I would definitely book it again. The location was not right by the Unawatuna Beach but it is easy to access by public or walking. Also, a nice hike to the Jungle Beach.

We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!
