The setting was beautiful - peaceful and relaxed, and we loved crossing the little river bridge to get there! We had a car but might be a bit far from restaurants/beach in town if you don't (bikes provided but a bit of a hill to tackle in the dark maybe) The breakfast was exceptional - by far the best of anywhere we stayed and was a real highlight - everything home made (James, juice, pastries, shakshuka) The bungalows were basic but cosy and cute, and really fab for the price. Frendly owner and friendly cats:)

The family who owns the hotel is very nice, friendly, and helpful. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The room is very quite, and because there are so many flowers nearby, it always smells very good. The pool is overlooking the mountain nearby and really has an amazing view. It is a great place if you want to chill and relax. We had dinner at the restaurant one night, and the food is super super amazing. We really loved our stay at Portalimo.

Very helpful owners and staff. They did not have kitchen open during winter but even offered us some soup upon arrival :) And late checkout so that we could enjoy spa bath (we did not realize during booking that it can only be used during daytime in winter, it would be too cold at night). Great breakfast and good European-style coffee. All amenities spotlessly clean. Bathroom has all necessities, even toothbrushes, and has plenty of space.

To be honest, I felt like back home (plants and threes everywhere and mountain view). The place is cozy, common areas are confortable and they are always there to help you. My friend Elle (i think is like that who is written her name) was super helpful even with a broken english. Breackfast was enough for the money I paid for the Cabin.
