Excellent host with much to say about Oakhurst, Yosemite, California, and more if you want to chat, yet very conscious of your privacy and never insists or intrudes whatsoever - excellent communication via booking.com's messaging facility. A beautiful house on above a gently flowing river, a short drive from Oakhurst, a town not far from Yosemite National Park (about an hour by car to the Valley). A generous room with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, an excellent, well-equipped bathroom, and all in total silence. Really nice view over the river (if the room is available) - it rained/snowed heavily while we were there, and were delighted to enjoy the peace of this room during it.

We had a fantastic time at this property. We were a family of 3 (parents with a 5-year-old), and this place was perfect for us. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin: - was very spacious and comfortable - fully equipped kitchen - linen and towels to host a large group of people - unbeatable views all around - snacks graciously provided by the hosts - a detailed welcome book with great suggestions about things to do - very fast Wi-Fi In addition it was very easy to communicate with the host and the immediately answered every question we had.

It was a perfect stay :) we enjoyed every day with the owner and even despite of the closed south entrance cause of the washburn it was a perfect place to reach the west entrance of Yosemite nationalpark. Thanks eddie for everything, we are looking for the next BBQ at your terrace!

Our room was just amazing. I frequently stay in London and pay 4 times the amount for a room 1/4 of the size that's nowhere near as clean and tidy and so full of facilities. En suite/microwave/fridge/coffee/heating! The beds are so comfy too. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. My partner and I had a lovely conversation with the receptionist. We'd highly recommend anyone visiting Yosemite to stay here!
