Lovely little cottage! Cozy livingroom and a great kitchen! The only issue is the cottage’s proximity to the main house on the property so not a strong sense of privacy. The family dogs were a joy to play with and great entertainment. It’s located in a rural area outside of Dunmore and is very peaceful.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, The Hazel Hut is located in Westport, 19 km from Westport Train Station and 37 km from Ballintubber Abbey. We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x

Cong Getaway Lodge is set in Cong 3.5 km from Ashford Castle and offers free bikes, a garden and a terrace. A smashing property in a beautiful location. Deirdre is a wonderful host, friendly, kind and thoughtful. I can’t wait to return and next time for longer. Lovely personal touches like food for breakfast and delicious chocolate brownies. Boasting a terrace and views of garden, Westport Country Chalets is a recently renovated chalet situated in Westport, 3.7 km from Westport Train Station. Location is lovely and peaceful.Hosts are a lovely couple,who made sure we had everything we needed. The chalet was spotlessly clean.I cant wait to return again next year.
