Recently built, small tiny houses in a great location with a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The place is nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

On the eastern edge of Vatnajökull National Park in the Icelandic Highlands, this hostel has nature baths and a café on-site. Perfect place to sleep over and continue your road, room was clean, big enough for 5 people and ofcourse, pool was nice. Host is very welcoming and called if we want something to eat at evening. Good experience.
