Our experience was just great, it exceeded our expectations. We were supposed to stay just one night but at the end we stayed three. The host was amazing, suggesting great restaurants / places to visit in the area and being available any time we needed. We will surely come back.

Situated in Palermo, 600 metres from Fontana Pretoria and 300 metres from Church of the Gesu, Castrum Lodge offers air conditioning. The flat was in a lovely location only a 5-minute walk away from the Cathedral and right next to one of the markets. It is nicely furnished and very modern with a lovely balcony. Host was lovely and responded to messages within minutes. We arrived in Palermo earlier than expected and they were accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier with less than an hour notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Palermo! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're going by car the streets around are very narrow.

Armando is a nice man, he met us and explained everything about the trip to Mt. Etna. The next morning he came to prepare a nice breakfast for us and we enjoyed the view from the balcony in the dining room. The house is very big, we had 2 rooms, 2 baths and the kitchen for our family of 5 people. Inside the rooms there was a heater to warm the air, tea and coffee, even slippers.
