Really lovely, peaceful grounds with excellent (but unobtrusive) staff. Our game driver was excellent and the buffet meals were all exceptionally tasty (including the Kenyan coffee on offer…the best we have even at more expensive safari camps/lodges). The watering hole is a highlight and the grounds are beautiful.

The room was big and clean. We had a fireplace just in front of our cottage. The kitchen is very small but enough to prepare some simple food. My wife enjoyed her spa treatment very much.

We really enjoyed Salt Lick! The game drives were amazing! There were monkeys and buffaloes at the water hole during our stay. Korbin was the BEST! He was our driver during our stay(picked us and dropped us at the train station, took us on our game drives, and took us back and forth for lunch.) All of the staff members were very friendly.

With river views, Maneaters is set in Tsavo and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Staff was very kind and helpful, location pure fantastic on the river bank. The crocodile Henry was guarding us all the time while staying there :))) Food was great.

What can we say to praise Ashnil Aruba sufficiently! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, our tent was immaculately clean, cool and comfortable with excellent bathroom and storage, a comfortable bed and a view beyond all expectations. The full board option was far beyond what we had expected for the price, so many delicious options to choose from for each meal. The location and site in the heart of Tsavo East are indescribable, the views are wonderful and the pool is a lovely surprise addition - we even watched elephants, zebra and gazelle while we were in the pool! The staff at the lodge are such a delight, every single member of the team was so kind and friendly as well as being very professional. Their service and dedication really made us feel welcome and well looked after for the whole of our stay. Thank you so much for the perfect safari stay, we loved every minute.
