Our game driver was excellent and the buffet meals were all exceptionally tasty (including the Kenyan coffee on offer…the best we have even at more expensive safari camps/lodges). The watering hole is a highlight and the grounds are beautiful.

The camp is really immersed in nature and incredibly calm and peaceful. Tents are tastefully simple yet very comfortable and give views out onto the wildlife outside (you can hear them moving around you at night!). We also spent one night in the cottages, which are comfortable and also close to watering holes, but a 500m drive from the rest of the camp. Staff are amazing - really sweet, friendly and helpful and the service is excellent <3. Restaurant is very good and pool is tastefully done (I.e not too big)

Situated 40 km from Tsavo SGR Station, Salt Lick Safari Lodge features accommodation in Tsavo. Complimentary WiFi is offered. A car rental service is available at the lodge. Meals were exceptionable. Takes a little work to get there, but the reward is well worth it. Been to Kenya number of times 8 to be exact. First time staying here best stay ever,and that says a lot. Super relaxing, very professional staff everything was above my expectations(very high expectations) by the way.

They were very kind and solved all our requests. They also organized a game drive, which also met our expectations. They have ‘own’ hippo end crocodile in the river.

Set in Tsavo, Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is offered. The staff at this hotel were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was absolutely beautiful, much more than we expected! Clean, light and comfortable more than big enough for 3 of us! The pool was warm and clean with loungers and towels. Food was a buffet style with lots to chose from so we were all happy! As we were full board, we took a packed lunch with us on the day we left and that was to the same high standard as dinner and breakfast had been in the hotel.

The full board option was far beyond what we had expected for the price, so many delicious options to choose from for each meal. The location and site in the heart of Tsavo East are indescribable, the views are wonderful and the pool is a lovely surprise addition - we even watched elephants, zebra and gazelle while we were in the pool! The staff at the lodge are such a delight, every single member of the team was so kind and friendly as well as being very professional. Their service and dedication really made us feel welcome and well looked after for the whole of our stay. Thank you so much for the perfect safari stay, we loved every minute.
