The food is delicious - one of the best in Sri Lanka - and the atmosphere very relaxed. It’s a bit of paradise on Earth. Thank you Praveen for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. There is a fully equipped shared bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. Everything about the place felt like a dream. So calm and peaceful and the lady of the property is absolutely fantastic.

It is a huge beautiful building directly at the beach (a quite nice one) with 3 apartments. Our apartment was quite big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a large living room and 2 big balconies. Everything is well equipped and you can easily spend several weeks here. It has a big pool, more than enough sunbeds and the beach is just out of the backside gate. There is 24h security on the property and free drinking water. The whole staff is exceptional (especially Rehan)! Everything is clean and well maintained. The location is also perfect as you have tons of nice restaurants at walking distance.

I thought about 2 night there but I stayed 5 😅 I really like the villa, the option of making my own breakfast in the morning was awesome 🥰 Every day the common area was cleaned. Mosquito net is available but only by request. The most beautiful beach - silent beach was only 2 min from the villa! I really enjoyed spending the time there. The staff was really helpful and nice. Near the villa are a lot of family’s small restaurants serving local food. Also for people like me who traveling a lot - the option of making laundry was salutary 😌

Taragala is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay overlooking the bird reserve. So many wonderful birds in the garden - I could spend all day watching them from the veranda or many tranquil spots round the garden. Saman was a very attentive and kind host. Food was delicious. Didn't want to leave such a special place.
