Quail Rest is located on Totara Peak Station which is a working High Country Station situated on the shores of Lake Benmore 22kms from Twizel township. Free WiFi and private parking is included. Extremely convenient and accommodating check in process for a late evening arrival. Wonderful accommodation that exceeded my expectations. I just needed a quiet place to rest before my next morning adventure but on an upcoming couples getaway I am planning this will be top of the list!

Fantastic place, clean, comfortable with very friendly hosts. Will never forget the starry night in this region. If you're into stargazing, then this place and the region will blow you away. We enjoyed our time in this cottage very much!

Very clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed. The city of Twizel lost water due to a broken water main while we were there but we were kept aware of the progress made on the repairs.
