The owner is very friendly and got some stories to tell about growing up in the town and how he built the lodge. Dinner and breakfast are more than delicious with mostly local ingredients.

Situated 14 km from Colca Canyon and 9 km of Cabanaconde Casa de virginia offers accommodation 9 km away from Cabanaconde.. Basic but clean rooms set in a lovely garden with hot pools and plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks. The owner is very nice too, so is breakfast and dinner. If you’re hiking Colca Canyon, this is one if two places you should stay. The other is Colibri Lodge. Highly recommend!

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. We had an amazing stay. Emilio is a fantastic host and made us feel relly comfortable. We liked to have a chat with him and to get some insights about the region, traveling etc. The room was really nicely designed and quiet. The food was one of the best we had in Peru, even the breakfast as well as the Lomo Saltado in the restaurant – yummy.

Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Our cabin was large, with a king size bed, and a nice bathroom. The ground were beautiful with greenery in a natural scene. They served beverages, dinner/tea, and breakfast. They have a fresh water pool.

Llahuar Lodge features a garden, 3 hot spring thermal water pools that is open 24hours. It is located a 3-hour walk from Huaruro waterfalls and 9 km from Canamaconde town. LLahaur Lodge is very nice facillity situated close to the river. You are accommodated in the simply wooden huts, but there is really warm, no need to have a sleeping bag. We were suprised by large pancakes for the breakfast, it was nice. But the best of this place are three pools with thermal watter ca 38C. It is amazing enjoyment mainly after 6 hours descent from Cabanaconde.
