Located among breath-taking views of the Peruvian Amazon, Bosque Guardian Lodge is only 40 minutes away from the city of Tarapoto’s airport, in San Martin Region. The lodge was very secluded and perfect for being in nature and relaxing. The view from the Mountain View lodge was stunning. The bed was very comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the activities. We would absolutely recommend this lodge for some peaceful time in nature.

Situated in Tarapoto, PUQIO ECOLODGE features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes and a garden. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain views. I had a very peaceful stay at Puqio! The area is absolutely beautiful and the hosts were lovely. Perfect place to relax and unwind. I hope to return soon!

Situated in Lamas in the San Martin region, Chirapa Manta Amazon Lodge features accommodation with free private parking. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with river or garden views. It was stunningly beautiful. Had great access to the river and a charming town, architecture was harmonious with nature, great food, a nice place to lounge and súper services like yoga and massages.

Surrounded by nature, Huingos Eco Lodge offers accommodations in Tarapoto. Free Wi-Fi access is available and guests are offered a daily complimentary breakfast. There was a lot to like about this place. Always a supply of purified water; quiet accommodations; large room; little details like hangers for your clothes; a variable breakfast (not the same thing morning after morning); clean grounds, chair to sit in outside or a hammock; river access; could walk to town if desired; some restaurants offered delivery service (limited, but still, you had a choice.) Always a delicious b'fast - fresh juice, hot coffee, bread, peanut butter, jam/honey, butter, and a variety of main dishes. I often made a peanut butter/jam sandwich and took it with me for lunch. I was there a full week and enjoyed Huingos very much. I'd definitely book there again. The other thing worth mentioning is that I had asked to be picked up at the airport and was told that someone would be there with a sign with my name on it. And THEY WERE. This service was included by Huingos and for a single woman, non-Spanish speaking, this was REALLY appreciated.

From the breakfast to the dinner you will enjoy a great selection of local dishes, all cooked with fresh ingredients from the jungle.
