Amazing pool with plenty of places to relax in the shade; food was great; breakfast was possible from 5AM for those who want to start their hike early; and the owner was just the nicest person! Even gave us home-made snacks to eat on our hike. Would definitely recommend spending the night here!!

I had a room with stones inside and it was very nice! Really hot shower any time! Beautiful garden to relax, with 3 pools with thermal water. You can also go to 2 pools right on the river. Stunning views of the canyon and the river, from atop you see everything. Delicious dinner, tasty pancakes for breakfast. The staff is super helpful, you feel at home, very cosy and relaxed vibe. Easy to reach from san juan, 4 hrs walking. Transport can be arranged to cabanaconde if you don't want to climb up. Highly recommend this place!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The view was incredible. The room and restaurant area were very clean. Edgar, the manager, was exceptional. We saw condors and eagles throughout the entire day. The bed was comfortable, and the blankets kept us warm. The water from the shower was hot. It was a wonderful stay!

The rooms are basic but comfortable, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. Cozy and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day of trekking or to prepare for the final ascent :)
