The location is amazing. Really quite and surrounded by the Nature. The bed was super comfortable and overall we felt in the perfect mood and setting to relax, exactly as it was planned. The beaches of monte Clérigo and Arrifana are a short 10 minutes drive from the location and various restaurants are pretty close in the center of Aljezur and Arrifana. I really needed to get away from the stress of work and modern society in general and boy did this property help me find that inner peace again. Cal Velho is really out in the middle of nowhere, with a terrace facing east that allows you to enjoy the magic sunrises in the best possible manner. The silence allows you to focus on yourself and the trails that fan out from the sides of the house allow you to discover the landscape along the rolling hills. The owner allowed me to check in quite earlier than usual, as she had had no guests from the previous day. This was highly appreciated, as it ensured none of my food got spoiled in the transfer from the previous location. Thanks for the help with this detail!
