Paraíso Douro AL is located in Lamego, 2.8 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and provides a balcony, garden, and free WiFi. The property features 10 rooms and 7 bungalows. Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Ricardo and Ana are the most amazing caretakers of the house and simply the nicest people who made our experience even better. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, it doesn’t get better than this. Don’t be afraid of the dirt road that leads to the house - we rented a Ford Puma and we arrived just fine.

The location was absolutely perfect. Our host was helpful, polite and super friendly. She showed us around the property, and made sure we had everything that we needed. She really wanted us to enjoy it as much as possible. We loved being able to relax on the porch and have leisurely breakfasts outside in the mornings. Great. Great. Great location. Oh, and they have ample parking.

Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

Located just 8 km from Tahiti Waterfall, Secret do Gerês provides accommodation in Vieira do Minho with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as room service. Beautiful location overlooking the valley and river. Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

The food was good so we didn't have to drive every night for dinner. Bar on premises. Everything was fabulous. Too bad they don't accept dogs. :-(

The upstairs bedroom with the huge picture windows was so fantastic. We had rainy, chilly weather, so didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating and table, but it is really beautifully set up, inside and out. You can walk along the stream to get to a medieval bridge and, judging by the rope swing, it looked like you could swim in the stream in the summer. It's also a nice private location, at the end of the road with the three rental units well spaced out from one another. There's lots of nice sight-seeing and hiking to do in the area. We will definitely go back if we make another trip to Portugal.

Also great for kids to be able to learn about farm animals and rural environments.

Offering an outdoor pool, Equinaturi is set in Santo Tirso, 24 km from Porto. Braga is 26 km from the property. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.

The accommodation is very well equipped and very comfy, with private parking. It far exceeded what we expected. We will be back.
